With a fashion show on a plexiglass catwalk, the Italian luxury house Fendi celebrated its anniversary at the Trevi Fountain, one of the most suggestive location of Rome restored in 2015 thanks to the project “Fendi for Fountains”. On this special occasion, the maison introduced the new collection created by Karl Lagerfeld, Fendi’s Art Director, inspired to Nordic fairytales. 

It was 1926 when Adele and Edoardo Fendi opened the first boutique at Via del Plebiscito; the anniversary celebration includes also a photographic book “East of the sun and west of the moon” and an exhibit entitled “Fendi Roma: The Artisans of Dreams”, that explores the history of the brand. It will be available until 23 October at Palazzo della Civiltà.
