The word ROMA is a palindrome, meaning  that read backwords means AMOR i.e. love...

Unconditional love is the ultimate attribute of the only possible relationship that you can have in the city of Rome.

This program aims to introduce students to the multifaceted relationships between the heritage of Rome -  one of the most important world sites in the Unesco list for its huge  historical and artistic patrimony -  and the Italian culture.

The most iconic areas of the city and the symbols of its collective memory will be explored, by analysing tangible and intangible components of the cultural heritage of Rome, and their relationship with cultural tourism and creative industries, such as cinema, fashion and visual arts.

Course includes a mix of workshops, meetings with designers and VIP of the Made in Italy brand, city walks and site visits.

At the end of the program, students are expected to prepare a visual portfolio aimed to portray the spirit of Rome (genius loci). The main concept of the final project will be illustrated with a video or a set of pictures.

This program will take 5h per day, for a total of 25h for the first option, and 50h for the second option. Week-ends are free and are meant to explore the city, nearby beaches and complete self/study activities.
