 1 week Program: July 15/22 euro 1000 + 200 (including accommodation and enrollment),

 2 week program: July 15/29 euro 1800 + 200 (including accommodation and enrollment).

AmoRoma is a full immersion in the character of Rome with workshops in design thinking, in-company visits and meetings with vmdesigners, journalists, entrepreneurs in the fields of art, fashion, luxury, food and lifestyle.

 

The word ROMA is a palindrome, meaning  that read backwords means AMOR i.e. love...

Unconditional love is the ultimate attribute of the only possible relationship that you can have in the city of Rome.

 

COURSE CONTENTS & OBJECTIVES

This program aims to introduce students to the multifaceted relationships between the heritage of Rome -  one of the most important world sites in the Unesco list for its huge  historical and artistic patrimony -  and the Italian culture.

The most iconic areas of the city and the symbols of its collective memory will be explored, by analysing tangible and intangible components of the cultural heritage of Rome, and their relationship with cultural tourism and creative industries, such as cinema, fashion and visual arts.

Course includes a mix of workshops, meetings with designers and VIP of the Made in Italy brand, city walks and site visits.

At the end of the program, students are expected to prepare a visual portfolio aimed to portray the spirit of Rome (genius loci). The main concept of the final project will be illustrated with a video or a set of pictures. 

AGENDA

This program will take 5h per day, for a total of 25h for the first option, and 50h for the second option. Week-ends are free and are meant to explore the city, nearby beaches and complete self/study activities.

ACCOMMODATION AND MEALS

Students will be accommodated in groups of 4 up to 7 people, in flats equipped with kitchenette, 2 or 3 bedrooms and services. Flats will be located in Trastevere, the most typical district of the capital, perfect for art, cultural events and good food. Tram nr 3 connects Trastevere with Via IV Novembre, i.e. Piazza Venezia (where the School is located), in a few minutes.

Buffet Meals will be arranged every day for lunch and dinner at the Restaurant Hespresso http://www.hespresso.it, nearby the School, from Monday to Friday week-ends excluded. 

EXTRA WEEK/END ACTIVITIES

 Not included in the overall fee, upon request they can be organized in town and outside: best indicated Florence and Naples.

FEES:

Min number of students to open this course:  15 students

Overall fee includes pick up at and for the airport, museums tickets, tours and accommodation. It must be paid in two installments: 50% by May 7, 50% by May 28

2 week program tuition fee: 1800€+200 € enrollment fee. Accommodation is included.
