“INTERNSHIP ON THE ROAD”

A 2 week Internship on the road, in 4 districts of the MADE IN ITALY excellence, starting in Venice, at the Biennale, then moving to the nautical district of La Spezia, in order to understand the value chain in the Yatch Industry, and ending in Tuscany, first in Scandicci (Florence), one of the oldest Fashion Districts of the country, and later in the Marble district of Carrara, for the final session “Stone & Trends in the Design Industry”

AIMS OF THE PROGRAM

 The aim of this “Internship program on the Italian roads” is to understand the mindset of the Made in Italy Brand, which is devoted to creativity, inspired by art, enhanced by craftsmanship, guided by eternal gestures and transforms details into excellence.  

Workshops, seminars and guided in/company visits will be conducted in English, touching 4 Italian districts, Venice, 5 Terre, Scandicci and Carrara. This program is ideal for designers, architects, brand managers, entrepreneurs, experts of communication, management, strategic marketing, researchers in the fields of luxury, territorial management, family business. 

FEES & LOGISTICS

Fees include: BAU Global enrollment fee; pick up at the airport, at the arrival in Venice and for the departure back home, from the airport of Pisa; accommodation in double room to share in all the destinations of the internship program on the road; tickets to the Biennale; workshops at Ca Memmo in Venice; visits to the companies in the Yatch and luxury industry scheduled in the districts of La Spezia, Florence and Scandicci; visits to the caves, foundations and botteghe in the Marble district; shuttle from Venice to the Marble District. NON EU Students who want to extend their stay in Italy should inform the school for visa purposes.

In order to enroll into the program and receive Admission and Invitation letter suitable to apply for a touristic Visa, the 50% of the overall fee must be paid by May 24 to:

The remaining part of the fee is due by and no later than  June 15. An invitation letter will be sent to the applicants by May 27 in order to start the process for the touristic visa at the Italian Consulate, in case of NON EU students. We remind NON EU students that the VISA process may take up even 6 weeks, therefore it is highly recommended to start it as soon as possible, considering that the program starts in July with arrival to Venice on July 14.

PS: this program will be activated with a min of 20 students.
